One91 Academic Programming
District 191 offers summer academic programming for K-12 students and is offered as:
- Kindergarten Jumpstart
- Summer School for Grades K-5 and 6-7
- Summer STEM Academy for Grade 8 (earning high school credit)
- Credit Recovery for Grades 9-12
Kindergarten jumpstart
A free program for District 191 students entering kindergarten in September 2024 that provides soon-to-be kindergartners with engaging, hands-on experiences and social learning intended to support the transition to full-day kindergarten. Learn more and register by clicking the button below.

summer stem academy for grade 8
This academy is designed for District 191 students currently enrolled in 8th grade and interested in earning high school credit for English Language Arts and Community Service Learning. Participation is voluntary and free.
